Flower Remedies

Although plant medicine has been around for as long as we have, flower remedies as we know them today were originally formulated by Dr Edward Bach in Britain in the 1930s. Dr Bach was a homeopath, bacteriologist and surgeon who left his practice to devote his time and energy to developing a modality that emphasized the mental, emotional and spiritual well-being of the patient rather than just the disease. He created 38 remedies and became a pioneer in this field. Since Dr Bach’s time, many more remedies are now available from around the world.

Flowers have their own unique healing abilities: Larch boosts confidence, aspen helps with anxiety, star of Bethlehem heals trauma, and so on. They are made by infusing or boiling flowering part of the plant in water. The infused water then becomes the remedy with the flower’s energetic, healing imprint.

Flower remedies can help heal:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Lack of confidence
  • Life changes
  • Fear
  • Any mental, emotional or spiritual imbalance

What to expect from a flower remedy consultation:

In a safe, confidential and supportive environment, we will discuss in depth your physical, mental and emotional heath. I will create a personal formula from my dispensary of over 200 remedies that will help put you back in balance, provide clarity and support you in your healing. Flower essences are gentle, have no side-effects and can be combined with pharmaceutical or natural medicine. This modality emphasizes the mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of the whole self, rather than "curing" an individual disease.
